We've packed all our HDBaseT knowhow into the SP-0208-HDBT-H2, a compact mixed-transmission UltraHD splitter that’s tailor-made for multi-screen and signage environments, such as hospitality or retail applications.

Boasting three transmission options the SP-0208 features dual HDMI inputs that can be automatically or manually switched to any of its eight HDBaseT and HDMI outputs.  

Four HDBaseT Class B and two Class A outputs, enable a choice of 4K transmission to either 35m or 70m and 1080p to 70m or 100m, depending on the HDBaseT port used.  A further pair of HDMI outputs can feed additional local screens or be used to cascade transmissions to another splitter, matrix switcher for install options that are as powerful as they are versatile.

Compatible with the latest HDCP 2.2 content, the SP-0208 supports 4K 60Hz 4:2:0 and 4K 24Hz with 10-bit HDR, and also includes EDID settings to manually adjust your system to your source.

Overview

Introducing the SP-0208-HDBT-H2, an 2x8 4K HDBaseT splitter featuring HDCP 2.2, PoH and CEC - a new addition to the WyreStorm HDBaseT line offering mixed-transmission flexibility for huge Pro AV possibilities. 

We've taken all our expertise as a leading HDBaseT specialist and packed it into this compact 1U UltraHD splitter that’s tailor-made for multi-screen and signage environments, such as hospitality or retail applications.

In the WyreStorm spirit of maximizing integrator options, SP-0208 was developed as a common sense alternative to transmitting an HDMI source over multiple distances to multiple locations in situations where a matrix switcher is either too expensive or just over-specifying.

Boasting three transmission options, the SP-0208 features dual HDMI inputs that can be automatically or manually switched to any of its eight outputs.

Four Class B HDBaseT outputs gives you delivery of 4K UHD content up to 35m or 115ft, or 1080p to 70m or 230ft, while a pair of Class A outputs takes 4K transmissions even further to 70m and 1080p to 100m or 328ft.

And if that’s not enough, we’ve even included a pair of HDMI outputs that can be used to cascade transmissions to another splitter, matrix switcher or to feed additional local screens for install options that are as powerful as they are versatile.

Compatible with the latest HDCP 2.2 content, the SP-0208 supports 4K 60Hz 4:2:0 and 4K 24Hz with 10-bit HDR, and also includes EDID settings to manually adjust your system to your source.

When it comes to control, the SP-0208 offers independent IR control of both its sources from HDBaseT zones and can be operated via front panel or RS-232, with support for major control systems, and of course, WyreStorm Enado control. Active-CEC also enables all compatible screens to be powered on or off at the touch of a button for added convenience.

PoH support allows all HDBaseT receivers to be powered direct from the splitter itself, so you can forget about the need for local power supplies at display zones.  And speaking of receivers, the SP-0208 can be used with WyreStorm RX-70-POH, RX-70-4K, RX-70-4K-ARC, RX-70-4K-SCL HDBaseT receivers, letting you make the most each models’ functionality, whether HDBaseT Class B, Class A, with audio breakout or even 4K/2K scaling.

As all WyreStorm products are fully compatible with each other, the SP-0208 can also be used as part of a wider WyreStorm eco-system. Use our hybrid Active Optical cables to deliver high bandwidth 4K from HDMI outputs up to 30m/98ft direct to a screen, AVR, splitter or switcher.  Use a WyreStorm EXP-CON-4K-DD to de-embed audio for a selected source. Expand HDMI outputs to devices using WyreStorm 0102 and 0104 splitters, connect multiple PoH devices, or connect HDBaseT outputs to HDBaseT inputs of a WyreStorm matrix to expand a system even further.  How you use it is up to you. 

If you’re looking for an economical and flexible method of distributing one or two sources to multiple displays over long, medium and short distances, there’s not much that can touch the SP-0208-HDBT-H2!
