ABOUT THE INSTALL
One of the leading motor franchised retailer groups in the UK sought to upgrade their BMW dealership located in Durham, UK into an impressive modern and functional showroom.

THE CHALLENGE
The brief stipulated video distribution from multiple sources with full HD video to 15 display points and multi-channel audio signals split and switched between 2 main zones, Front of House (Showroom) and Rear of House within the dealership. However, the real challenge in this particular install was the six unique BMW Customer Configuration Lounges.As a BMW standard, the requirement in these particular lounges was to provide the sales assistant with a dynamic and discreet way of mirroring the display on their PC to the 42” LG Commercial Monitor beside them, allowing the customer to be fully engaged in the sales process upon their new BMW purchase.

THE SOLUTION
Drawing on years of experience, there was no hesitation in immediately committing to WyreStorm’s reliability and performance qualities of their NetworkHD solution. 11 NetworkHD decoders were discretely installed to display points within Front of House. A total of 5 transmitters were installed in the comms room providing a number of source content including, Freeview, LG Blu-ray players and an option for a laptop for corporate events.
