ABOUT THE INSTALL
Located in the trendy Kensington area of Calgary, this newly built show-home provided the perfect blank canvas to create a leading-edge whole-house integrated and distributed high tech modern living space which is as stylish as the architecture and décor.

THE CHALLENGE
The project itself featured 15 discrete zones of audio and 6 multi-room visual set-ups, including living room, dedicated home theatre, master and guest bedrooms, loft space and a full gym, creating the best end user experience possible. Reliability and flexibility were important considerations, as was the capability to seamlessly integrate with all devices within the project to offer true ‘Home Automation’. This would allow the property to interact with the end user and vice versa in a way that went beyond literal description to capture the very essence of the modern residential living experience.

THE SOLUTION
In terms of AV, Digital Cable boxes, Blu-ray, Apple TV and a media streamer acted as the central hub for the property’s entertainment. All sources were distributed through a WyreStorm HDBaseT matrix switcher, for transmissions of video and audio along a single Cat6 to WyreStorm display receivers at each of the 6 display zones within the entire AV system.
