ABOUT THE INSTALL
Nestled in the suburbs of regional Murray Bridge lies the residential aged care facility Romani Aged Care. A state of the art address with 72 resident beds, it has multiple gathering and activity spaces, a stunning garden and even on site hairdressing salons.

Romani Aged Care is an RSL Care SA facility catering for the elderly on the banks of the Murray River in South Australia.

THE CHALLENGE
Romani Aged Care management and staff requested an Audio Visual system that complemented the elegant and sleek design of their exquisite aged care destination. With multiple individual rooms and areas requiring attention, Romani engaged Chris Henderson Electrical in Adelaide, who were already on site assisting with lighting requirements.

THE SOLUTION
WyreStorm’s AV over IP solution was chosen for the AV distribution of the project. The WyreStorm NetworkHD 400 series was the best option for Amber, as it offered a great deal of versatility, expansion and control capabilities. This 4K over IP offering of NetworkHD also allowed the adoption of both wallplate and ‘box’ transmitter options, which were both discussed for this project.

Should the venue ever need to grow the system, the WyreStorm NetworkHD system can add endpoints as required, at both the input and output ends; which far outweighs a fixed HDMI matrix option.

The multi-layer control options of BYOD/wireless device control, via the free Wyrestorm NetworkHD Touch app; plus the 3rd party interface gave the integrator and end user flexible control options. Furthermore, the Touch Control application was easy for the end user to use, straight off the bat, resulting in an almost zero learning curve.
